They get all of their data from the NOAA archives and do monthly averages.<br /><br />http://gis.ncdc.noaa.gov/map/cdo/ is a tool that I have recently started using. It lets you see 5 minute intervals of NEXRAD data. You can graph some weather station data with the tool as well. Wind speed is there but direction is not.<br />It sure would be nice to have better access to weather station data. <br /><br />A cool site that gives an excellent visual representation of the near-term forecast of wind. http://hint.fm/wind/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
